Died peacefully on 6th March 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Cherished uncle of Helen and Victoria and the late Edward. Beloved brother of the late Helen and bother-in-law of the late Clive. Doting great-uncle of Theodore. Adored uncle-in-law of Rikki and Leon. Loved cousin of James, Wendy, Peter, Michaela, James, Laura, James, Mary, Helen and James. Dearest friend of Pat, Red and Clora. Michael will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Michael's funeral and Requiem Mass - Reverend Canon David Mills VF - will be held at the Catholic church of St Gregory the Great, St James' Square, Cheltenham at 15:00 Friday 27th March 2026, followed by a burial at St Matthew's Churchyard, Tewkesbury Road, Twigworth, where he will be laid to rest alongside his sister Helen, brother-in-law Clive, nephew Edward and great-nephew Bertie. A bar and food reception in celebration of Michael's life will be held immediately after the burial (from 17:30 onwards) at The Wheatsheaf, 283 Old Bath Road, Cheltenham, GL53 9AJ. All are invited.
